Part-Time Accounts Receivable Coordinator

General Qualifications:

Are you a people person who also likes accounting? The part-time Accounts Receivable Coordinator role is perfect for a graduate of Business Administration or Accounting. Client relationships are an integral part of our services, following up on project invoices requires a friendly approach with great people-skills. This role will bookend the accounts receivable process and duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Sending out invoices and statements
  • Making contact with clients ensuring receipt of properly formatted invoice to correct department
  • Keeping detailed notes and updating client database
  • Listening to and resolving invoicing issues
  • Making electronic bank deposits, posting cash receipts, and tracking balances 

This individual will report directly to the Accounting Manager.


  • Excellent verbal, written communications qualities needed
  • 1-2 years’ Accounts Receivable experience
  • High level of customer service skill required
  • Able to handle a fast paced environment, be self-motivated, and have an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Key competencies include superior organization, prioritization and attention to detail as well as conflict resolution skills
  • Must exhibit a solid professional business image with a team player attitude.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships with team personnel, sales representatives, and customer accounting teams


  • Intermediate college (business, accounting, or related field) preferred, but degree is not required

Required Applications:         

  • Microsoft office (with emphasis on Excel and Word).
  • Project accounting or ERP experience a plus but not required. (Deltek or Ajera preferred)
